HOURLY ITINERARY:
- 07:30 / 08:00 hrs: Pick up from your hotel, start of the tour to the Sacred Valley of the Incas.
- 08:20 hrs: Taray Viewpoint .
- 09:30 hrs: Visit to the Archaeological Site of Pisaq .
- 12:00 hrs: Buffet lunch in the town of Urubamba .
- 2:00 p.m.: Visit to the Ollantaytambo Archaeological Site .
- 17:00 hrs: Visit to the Chinchero Textile Interpretation Center .
- 18:30/19:00 hrs: Return to the city of Cusco.
VISITING DAY (PISAC - URUBAMBA - OLLANTAYTAMBO - CHINCHERO):
We will begin the adventure by picking you up at your hotel in Cusco between 07:30 and 07:50 AM . From there, we will begin the bus trip to the majestic Sacred Valley, a jewel of the Inca legacy.
Our first stop will be the picturesque Taray viewpoint , from where we will get an unparalleled panoramic view of the Sacred Valley. Then, we will head towards Pisac , ascending towards the impressive Archaeological Site built on the top of a mountain. Upon descending, we will immerse ourselves in the local culture by visiting the Pisac artisan market, where master craftsmen exhibit their skill with minerals.
At midday, bordering the Vilcanota River, we will head to Urubamba . There, we will delight in a nutritious buffet lunch that reflects the richness of Cusco cuisine.
Post lunch, we will explore the Ollantaytambo Archaeological Site , formerly an Inca resting place and starting point to Machu Picchu. We will admire its imposing buildings, such as the stone terraces, the Temple of the Sun and the ancient fountain of the Princess Baths.
Before concluding, we will make a stop in Chinchero , where we will visit a local community and its Textile Interpretation Center , in addition to getting to know the archaeological site of the area.
The day will culminate with our return to Cusco , ending in the Plaza de San Francisco around 6:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
